Oil Changes
Standard (Conventional) Oil and Filter Change
- Uses traditional petroleum-based motor oil.
- Best for older vehicles or drivers with light, low-mileage driving habits.
- Less expensive than synthetic oil.
- Typically needs to be changed every 3,000–5,000 miles.
Synthetic Oil and Filter Change
- Uses chemically engineered oil designed to perform.
- Best for modern engines, turbocharged engines, extreme driving conditions, or anyone who wants longer intervals between oil changes.
- Superior lubrication, better protection at high/low temps, resists sludge and breakdown.
- Change intervals are typically 7,500–10,000 miles or more.
- More expensive than conventional oil.
